“Thanks to this [MBSR] class the body scan, breathing, and mindful movements have become new routines to take care of myself.
Meditation makes me feel like I have found the “pause button” that allows me to be in the moment and escape the constant anticipation that occupies so much of our brain.
The techniques taught have given me the keys to better manage stressful situations, to apprehend them in a way that allows me to reduce the suffering they cause (irritability, chronic pain), to accept them and to take a step back.
